ACS MARINE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED" was established in the year 2019 by the Managing Director Mr T.Chinnasamy, who has 30 years of experience in the textile industry and started this shipping company in 2019 with the objective of acquiring ships and operating worldwide. He did thorough research about this industry and purchased the first vessel in 2021. Since the inception of operations, the company has been performing well.

Currently, the company owns a Panamax vessel with a dead weight of 74,005 metric tonnes and is transporting coal in the East coast of India for the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited. Overall, the global requirement for cargo on grains, iron ore, and other commodities is on high demand.
There is a huge potential in this segment/size of the vessel for the foreseeable future in the bulk trade worldwide. Roughly about 100 million grains are being transported from Brazil/Argentina to Europe/South Asia. Roughly about 50 million MT coal is being transported from Paradip to Ennore/Tuticorin/Krishnapatnam per annum for power generation. 20 million MT iron ore/pellets are being transported from Paradip/Vizag to Hazira per annum for steel production.
